ContactZapp uses cookies only to run the service and, with your consent, to understand how visitors use this website. We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t build advertising profiles.
This policy covers the marketing website at contactz.app and the ContactZapp app at app.contactz.app. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data.
02Cookies on the website
Nothing is set until you say yes. When you first visit, we ask whether we may use cookies. Until you click Accept, we load no analytics and set no cookies. If you click Decline, nothing is set and you can keep using the site normally.
What we set if you accept. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure visits: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and roughly what device and country they use.

Google receives this usage data, including your IP address, as our service provider. It processes the data on our behalf under its terms and may process it outside the EEA. Our legal basis is your consent. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
03Cookies in the app
The app sets only technical cookies, which it needs to sign you in and keep you signed in securely. It sets no tracking or analytics cookies and loads no third-party scripts. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, the app doesn’t ask for consent to set them.

All four are HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax.
04Checkout cookies (Freemius)
We sell our products using Freemius secure checkout, which enables secure online payments, licensing, fulfillment, and more. Freemius automatically adds cookies when you open the checkout. Those are essential cookies for security, fraud detection and prevention, and completion of a purchase. There is no way to check out without letting Freemius use cookies, so they are set without asking for consent.
See the Freemius privacy policy and its checkout cookie policy. If you wish to opt out of Freemius’ cookies setting, go to their cookie policy and follow their opt-out instructions.
05Your choices
- Change your answer any time. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer of the website. If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics cookies and stop loading the analytics scripts.
- Browser settings. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking the app’s technical cookies will stop you from signing in.
- Where we store your answer. We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage under
contactzapp:cookie-consent. It contains your choice and the date, and never leaves your browser. - When we ask again. We ask again if this policy changes in a way that affects cookies.
